Light guides

The UV-light emitted in the Omnicure housing is brought to the bond sites through light-guides.

Below you find our range and types, lengths and diameters of the Light Guides and other means of light transmission adapepted to an optimized curing process.

We distinguish between two guide materials:

  The "liquid" light guides offer a higher collecting efficiency than the (fused)quartz fiber light guides and tend to be more economical for single adhesive points.

  the high power quartz fiber light guides allow to "serve" up to 6 bonding locations/part and offer higher emission values and better balance between the arms.

Optical accessories allow to adapt the spacial distribution of the light (including the spot size) and their angular impact in order to optimize the illumi-nation.
